Mission Statement
The mission of the Massachusetts Film Bureau (MFB) is to attract and facilitate commercial, documentary, television and independent and feature film production to the Commonwealth. Our team actively promotes the state of Massachusetts as an ideal destination for filming. The function of the MFB, is to generate business for the local economy, create jobs, increase tourism and develop the Massachusetts-based film and television industry. This association, made up of business executives and private individuals, supports the Massachusetts film community.

Services
The Massachusetts Film Bureau will assist commercial, television, as well as independent and studio filmmakers with location scouting, research, crew staffing, union negotiations, permitting and securing hotel accommodations. A job hotline will provide information on employment opportunities in addition to an annual production guide listing crew and vendor information. Our web site will include this information on line and highlight a location monthly. Initiatives to support commercial and independent filmmakers as well as screenwriters will be sustained.
