Arkansas Film Office

The Arkansas Department of Economic Development Film Unit was created in 1979 to promote Arkansas to film, video, television and commercial production companies. Services include:

• Providing information to filmmakers considering Arkansas, such as potential locations, agents and crew information

• Assisting filmmakers while in the state

• Accompanying them on scouting trips

• Introducing them to community leaders, officials, landowners and others who can assist the production company

• Acting as liaison with other agencies and local officials

• Promoting interest and developing capability of filmmakers and local film commissions within Arkansas
